100Pcs Giant Saguaro Cactus (Carnegiea gigantea) Seed Packet

$14.95 USD $31.95 USD

Majestic saguaro cactus can soar skyward eventually to over 50 feet tall. The waxy white flowers form at stem ends when the plant is about 30 years old. The seeds germinate readily, making attractive plump seedlings with a little tuft of spines at the top. Seedlings grow slowly at first, but speed up as they gain size, developing a stout, cylindrical, grayish-green stem armed with straight gray spines. Native to the American Southwest, saguaros will grow outdoors if you live in USDA plant hardiness zones 9 through 11. Elsewhere, keep them as container plants and bring them indoors before freezing weather occurs. These seeds were harvested from our own stand of saguaros in central Arizona's Sonoran Desert. You'll get growing instructions along with your seeds.
